KIT TERMS OF USE AND LICENCE

Beyond The Lawn is a trading name of The Timber Design Studio Ltd

("TTDS", "we", "us", "our").

These Terms of Use and Licence ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of any

Beyond The Lawn digital kit, guide, plan, drawing set, or related material

(together, the "Kit").

By purchasing, accessing, downloading, opening, or using a Kit, you confirm

that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do

not agree, you must not purchase, access, or use the Kit.

Some rights in these Terms apply only if you are a consumer. Nothing in these

Terms affects your statutory rights.

1. DEFINITIONS

For the purposes of these Terms:

• Build

Means one complete construction of the garden structure corresponding to

the Kit.

• Site

Means the single physical location/address at which the Build is carried out.

• Purchaser

Means the individual or legal entity that purchases the Kit.

• Contractor

Means any builder, joiner, or trade engaged by the Purchaser to carry out

the Build.

• Accredited Provider

Means a contractor or supplier who, at a particular point in time, has entered

into a commercial agreement with TTDS, provided evidence of relevant insurance,

and agreed to certain brand or conduct standards. Accreditation is not a

guarantee of workmanship or outcomes and may be withdrawn at any time.

• Third-Party Services

Means any goods or services provided by parties other than TTDS.

2. WHAT YOU ARE BUYING

2.1 The Kit is a digital instructional product intended to assist with the

construction of a garden structure.

2.2 The Kit does not constitute construction services or professional advice.

TTDS does not provide site-specific design, structural engineering, surveys,

building control submissions, project management, procurement, or site

supervision.

2.3 The Kit is designed for use by competent DIYers and professional

joiners/builders and remains an instructional guide only.

3. PRICE, DELIVERY, AND ACCESS

3.1 The Kit price is £299 (GBP), unless otherwise stated at the point of purchase.

3.2 Delivery is digital (download and/or online access). You are responsible for

ensuring you can access, store, and back up the files.

3.3 Access credentials must not be shared except as expressly permitted under

these Terms.

4. LICENCE GRANT — SINGLE BUILD ONLY

────────────────────────

4.1 All intellectual property rights in the Kit remain the property of TTDS (or

its licensors).

4.2 TTDS grants the Purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence

to use the Kit for one Build on one Site only.

4.3 Each purchase authorises one Build only. Any additional Build — even of the

same design — requires a new licence and purchase.

4.4 The Purchaser may print one working copy of the Kit solely for use on the

licensed Build.

5. PERMITTED SHARING WITH CONTRACTORS

────────────────────────

5.1 The Purchaser may share the Kit, or relevant extracts, with Contractor(s)

solely for the purpose of constructing the Purchaser’s licensed Build.

5.2 Contractors do not receive an independent licence. Access is permitted only

as part of fulfilling the Purchaser’s contract for that single Build.

5.3 The Purchaser is responsible for ensuring that any Contractor complies with

these Terms.

6. CONTRACTOR USE RESTRICTIONS AND ACCREDITATION

6.1 No Contractor may use the Kit for any other project, client, or purpose

beyond the Purchaser’s single licensed Build.

6.2 Any reuse, adaptation, templating, resale, public sharing, or derivative use

by a Contractor is prohibited unless authorised in writing by TTDS or the

Contractor is accredited by TTDS.

6.3 Unauthorised use constitutes a material breach and may result in licence

termination and enforcement action.

7. THIRD-PARTY INTRODUCTIONS, ACCREDITED PROVIDERS,

AND REFERRAL FEES

7.1 TTDS may facilitate introductions to third parties including contractors,

suppliers, and designers.

7.2 TTDS acts solely as an introducer and does not form partnerships, joint

ventures, or employment relationships with third parties.

7.3 TTDS does not supervise, manage, or control Third-Party Services.

7.4 Any agreement for Third-Party Services is strictly between the Purchaser and

the third party.

7.5 Accreditation is not a guarantee of quality, performance, or outcome.

7.6 TTDS may receive referral fees, affiliate commissions, or other commercial

benefits. Such payments do not constitute endorsement.

7.7 TTDS accepts no liability for Third-Party Services.

8. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

8.1 You are responsible for determining suitability of the Kit for your Site.

8.2 You are responsible for site conditions, enabling works, and safety.

8.3 You are responsible for obtaining all required permissions and approvals.

8.4 You must engage qualified professionals where regulated works are involved.

9. GUIDANCE ONLY — NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE

────────────────────────

9.1 The Kit provides general guidance only.

9.2 It does not constitute architectural, engineering, surveying, or safety

advice.

9.3 Professional advice must be obtained where required.

10. TECHNICAL AND PERFORMANCE DISCLAIMERS

────────────────────────

TTDS is not responsible for outcomes arising from:

• site-specific conditions

• workmanship or sequencing

• material substitutions

• regulatory approvals

• ventilation, condensation, thermal or acoustic performance

11. SAFETY

────────────────────────

11.1 Construction involves inherent risks. Safety is your responsibility.

11.2 TTDS does not provide site safety supervision.

12. SUPPORT

────────────────────────

12.1 Support is general guidance only.

12.2 Support channels may be amended or withdrawn at any time.

13. DIGITAL CONTENT, CANCELLATION, AND REFUNDS

────────────────────────

13.1 Consumer statutory rights are not affected.

13.2 By downloading the Kit, you waive your right to cancel once access begins.

13.3 Statutory remedies apply where the Kit is defective.

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

────────────────────────

14.1 Liability that cannot be excluded by law is not limited.

14.2 TTDS is not liable for indirect losses, delays, defects, or Third-Party

Services.

14.3 Total liability shall not exceed £299, subject to statutory rights.

15. MISUSE, ENFORCEMENT, AND TERMINATION

15.1 Unauthorised use is a material breach.

15.2 TTDS may terminate access and pursue legal remedies.

16. DATA PROTECTION

Personal data is processed in accordance with TTDS’s Privacy Notice.

17. GENERAL

────────────────────────

17.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement.

17.2 Unenforceable provisions do not affect the remainder.

17.3 No third-party rights apply.

17.4 Governed by the laws of England and Wales. Exclusive jurisdiction applies.
